The designers of Yu Garden have re-planned the internal space structure to make it more square, enhancing the overall functionality and aesthetics. Through the use of artistic devices and material treatments, the original space-constrained inclined roof is transformed into an artistic display. The traditional corner stairs are replaced with landscape stairs, creating a space that is both visually appealing and practical. Additionally, the introduction of a daylighting glass roof with automatic induction compensates for the lack of natural light and poor permeability in certain areas.
The realization of the Yu Garden design incorporates various technologies and materials. The automatic induction lighting glass roof ensures ample daylighting and ventilation. Stone, glass, and wood finishes are used throughout the villa, adding to its luxurious appeal.
With a project area of 1500 square meters, Yu Garden is a testament to exquisite design and quality craftsmanship. The designers have paid meticulous attention to detail, creating a natural, comfortable, and relaxed living experience. The integration of a smart home system further enhances the functionality and convenience of the villa.
Situated in the bustling and natural surroundings of Jinji Lake and Dushu Lake, Yu Garden enjoys the benefits of Suzhou's CBD and abundant external resources. This private residential project showcases the residents' living habits and interests, with inspiration found in the smallest details. The interior space is carefully designed to create a delicate and elegant home environment that reflects the owner's taste and lifestyle.
The Yu Garden project faced several challenges during its development. The irregular spatial structure and lack of natural light in certain areas required innovative solutions. Additionally, the designers had to overcome the absence of an elevator moving line within the rooms to ensure a seamless user experience.
Designed by Qiang Hu and executed by Shanghai Banfen Space Design Co., Ltd. in 2012, Yu Garden has received recognition for its exceptional design. It was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in 2023 in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category. This prestigious award is given to well-designed, practical, and innovative creations that meet professional and industrial requirements. Yu Garden stands out for its integration of industry best practices, competent technical characteristics, and contribution to a better world.
